JEMBER FASHION CARNIVAL

Perhaps, many people say that special identity is not very essential for a city or a country. The most important thing is the social welfare maintenance. In other side, a city called Jember, self identity is a very important issue. This city tries to make a trend that has definite vision and mission. These goal are implemented through creating events with many impressive theme. The purpose of this essay is to give you some information about this event as identity of Jember, the vision and mission, and the theme of JFC.

Jember Fashion Carnival is an event to make new identity beside of two other identity previous there are Jember as tobacco and islamic city. JFC that supported by media try to embed in Jember history. On the other side, Jember society have many population Javanese and Maduranese that make the change process easily receives as part of Jember in global era. Jember as world city carnival become a new identity of Jember.

The vision of JFC is making the city of Jember as the first fashion tour city in Indonesia even in the world. Carnival themed fashion trend of the world not owned by other regions in the world is not even there that raised this potential. These potential advantages could provide a multiplier effect on other potential we have. Mission JFC is a process or journey that brings many benefits to the development of our education, the arts, cultural and economic.

Jember Fashion carnival has title "Eyes on Thriump" supported by marching bands and carnival participants. they wearing best costume, best makeup and unique accessories, amazing, fantastic and spectacular music, choreography as well as the illustrations are beautifully presented procession started from the best JFC, with the main theme. The theme of JFC are :

• Royal Kingdom is inspiration from Royal Kingdom in the UK. JFC marching band with the choreography and illustrations are fantastic and spectacular music with a blend of black, red, white and gold. JFC presents it all with his trademark style is unique, interesting, and different.
• Punk is a community of street children can make a full lifestyle and emotional creations, with accessories in the body including graffiti style.
• India is the icon colossal movie that often become the world's attention including the love story and the atmosphere of Indian wedding procession dramatic.
• Borneo is one of the islands in Indonesia rich ethnic and forests, custom made island of Borneo as a unique the world with a symbol exotic accessories.
• Butterfly is details on the wings and different colors will make the butterfly symbol for beauty but in this procession we will describe the other side of mysteries and illusions.

So carnival has identity for the city have the vision and mission and the theme is very spectacular to entertain the public. Carnival is open to the public and all can enjoy dance, music both spectators and participants in this JFC. Carnivals are held only once a year in muddy beloved city. Let’s join us…!!!
