The Guitar

Do you know guitar?? Guitar is a part of music instrument and it is used as a leader of rhythm guitar, drum, bass guitar, etc. As a writer, I want to explain about a part, type, and how to play a guitar.

There are 3 base parts of a guitar. They are head, neck, and body. And those parts are divided into the other parts. In head, there are 2 parts they are nut and tuning pegs. Nut is a string holder and the function is a hold the string up in order to produce a sounds. Tuning pegs is tuner. Commonly, there are 6 tuners for 6 strings and 12 tuners for 12 strings. It depends on amount of string. In neck, there are frets, fingerboard, and position markers. Fret is a string holder which raises the portion of tone on the neck of a string instrument. Fingerboard is a place to lay our finger. Position marker is a mark in fingerboard and the function is to show the base tone. In body, there are (pickups, pickup selector switch, tone control, vibrato bar, and output jack) for electric guitar, (sound hole and saddle) for acoustic guitar, and (pickguard and bridge) for both of electric guitar and acoustic guitar.

Basely, the types of guitar are divided into 3 types. They are acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass guitar. Actually, that 3 types of guitar are same but the difference just there in scale-level of note. The scale-level note of acoustic guitar there is in 379.75 Hz, electric guitar in 453.22 Hz (can be changed), and bass in 579.73 Hz.

Playing a guitar is very easy. There are so many technic to play guitar, but I just want to tell you the beginner technic. Those technic are sweep and pick. Sweep technic is a simple technic, you just need to stroke the all of string down and up. Pick technic is quite difficult, just pick one string and then pick the other string randomly. But without chord, it is impossible to produce a match, beautiful, and correct sound. Chord is a two-three notes that produce a beautiful sound. Kind of chords are A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Minor, Major, and Sharp chord. When you have already mastered a chord, it means that you can play guitar.

So, a guitar is a combination of a string and pieces of wood which has a sound hole in the body to produce a sound. Parts of guitar divided into 3 parts, they are head, neck and body. Play a guitar is quiet easy. You just need mastering the sweep technic, pick technic and chord. Mostly, someone play a guitar just for hobby. But playing a guitar is reflection of feelings for me, not only for hobby. Just additions, playing guitar improve our creativity skill and improve the coordination between right and left hand.
