The Champions of Badminton

Taufik hidayat is one of many badminton players in the world. He is popular athlete in Indonesia, because he often becomes a winner in many tournaments. He was become the best badminton player in 2004 by BWF (Badminton World Federation), after he had become in olympic games Athena 2004.

Today, the top of badminton ranking is reached by Le chong wei, after he has become a winner in all England and Thomas cup. Now, he is the best badminton player who is scared by his rivals.

The Motherland’s Crises

Indonesia is a country in the world which is famous with a nature riches. But in fact, Indonesia can not enjoy its riches, and Indonesia even must fight with many problems after president Soeharto stops from his position. He leaved many crisis in this country such as politics, education, and economy.

In the politics, Indonesia still cries with the corruption culture and safety problem. Unlike others Islāmic majority country which has a low presentation of corruption, on the contrary Indonesia has a high presentation. Moreover Indonesia become the most corrupt country in the world. And about safety, Indonesia is popular with the terrorism, for example Bali’s bom, Kuningan, J.W Marriot, and Ritz Calton tragedy ect. It’s very pitiful.

In the education, Indonesia still struggle to reach ideal education quality, like as held an U N, build many vocational educations, and implement 20% education budget from national budget. But in fact it is very complicated, like in UN implemation, in there many occur unfair. And about 20% education budget, it is like two of coin side, in the first side it’s good because our country has done basic constitution 1945 mandate, but in other side it appears a sadness because almost a half budget only for teacher and lecture salary. So, our education still too expensive for poor society.

In the economy, up to now Indonesia is not Fully recovered from a crisis of monetary in 1998. It is seen by many of joblessnesses total which is reach almost 10 billion people, because many of fiscal policies is not fully pro-common folks e.g Free Port, Blok Cepu, Krakatau Steel, Exxon Mobile, and ect. Even, more than a half Indonesian investment is controlled by foreign investment. So, we still feel comfort under foreign armpit.

Actually, our nation has opportunity to become an excellent. We can learn from Japan and Germany experience. They can break a way pasca world war II, because they handle their problem seriously. But I believe, in the next day Indonesia will become a big nation, with put a democracy as a system to make prosperous society, not as a good theory but nothing in practice.
